Peek Tubing

PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone) tubing is a high-performance engineering polymer tube known for:

General PEEK Polymer Characteristics (typical per ASTM standards):

• Glass transition temperature (Tg): 125-165 C

• Melt temperature (Tm): 320-360 C

• Density: 12801320 kg/m

• High tensile strength and excellent abrasion resistance

• Flame retardant (UL94 V-0)

 3. Dimensional Specifications

Outer Diameter (OD) / Inner Diameter (ID)

PEEK tubing is available in many sizes, examples include:

• Microbore: very small IDs down to 0.001 (25 m)

• Standard lab sizes: 1/16 (1.55 mm) and 1/8 (3.2 mm) OD

• Larger engineering tubing: OD up to 620 mm range in industrial products

Dimensional tolerances are typically very tight for analytical and medical tubing. 

 4. Temperature & Chemical Performance

Operating temperature:

• Continuous use up to 250-260 C

• Short excursions up to 310 C possible
  PEEK retains mechanical strength at high temperatures and withstands steam and repeated sterilization. 

Chemical resistance:

• Resistant to acids, bases, hydrocarbons, solvents

• Compatible with wide pH range (014) for fluid systems
